Dante Desantis Obituary, Death; – A man who lost his life in a mass shooting at a bonfire gathering behind a business in Mobile over the weekend has been named.
The Mobile Police Department reported on Monday morning that 31-year-old Dante Desantis was fatally shot in an incident that also resulted in injuries to six juveniles. The shooting took place on Friday at approximately 10:47 p.m. near the intersection of Bellingrath and Laurendine Road.
According to a police statement, “Four injured victims were taken to local hospitals by private vehicle, while two additional injured individuals were transported by ambulance.” The investigation is ongoing, and the findings will be submitted to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office. No further details will be released at this time.
