Daniel Dale Conner,Tammy Lee Brown Obituary, Death;- A house explosion that resulted in the deaths of two seniors in Pueblo County earlier this month was probably caused by the installation of a water heater, as announced by the sheriff’s office on Tuesday.
The tragic explosion occurred in Boone on the afternoon of January 8, completely destroying the residence and claiming the lives of 79-year-old Daniel Dale Conner and 66-year-old Tammy Lee Brown. When firefighters arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames, and the damage was so severe that the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office reported it took nearly a day to locate one of the victims.
According to the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, the sheriff’s office revealed the likely cause on Tuesday morning.
The investigation is still ongoing. A report regarding the case is anticipated to be finalized by mid-February.
