Coleman Joshlin Obituary, Death; – A Texas woman is seeking justice for her husband of 55 years, who was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting. Weeks following his death, law enforcement continues to search for the suspected shooter.
Coleman Joshlin, aged 79, and his wife, Beverly, shared 55 years of marriage. She expressed her shock upon learning of the incident that claimed his life.
“He served in the military and contributed so much. For him to lose his life in such a manner is incredibly frustrating,” stated Beverly Joshlin.
Coleman Joshlin was en route to pick up dinner around 6 p.m. on May 14 when he was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting. The event occurred at the intersection of Pat Booker Road and the Interstate 35 South frontage road in Live Oak.
Authorities report that an individual fired multiple shots into Coleman Joshlin’s Mazda Miata. He was transported to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.
“The police arrived and informed me that he was in the hospital. I thought perhaps he was merely injured. I never anticipated this outcome,” Beverly Joshlin remarked.
Investigators are actively pursuing leads to locate the alleged shooter, who was driving a silver/gray Chevrolet four-door truck. Beverly Joshlin is appealing to anyone with information regarding her husband’s death to step forward.
“I implore anyone to come forward. I miss him dearly,” she expressed. “We have been married for such a long time. He was always there. Always.”
