Cohen Turner Obituary, Death; – The identity of a man who lost his life due to severe flooding in Cleburne County was disclosed on Monday. The Turkey Heaven Volunteer Fire Department identified the deceased as Cohen Turner on Monday afternoon.
A second rescue operation was initiated at approximately 6:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of County Road 41. A vehicle carrying two individuals was engulfed by floodwaters, resulting in it leaving the roadway. One individual was successfully rescued without significant injuries, while the second individual was not found until a short time later. The second individual was declared deceased at the scene by Cleburne County Coroner Adam Downs.
