Christon Deandre Thorn Obituary, Death; – A man from Birmingham, identified as 42-year-old Christon Deandre Thorn, was fatally shot on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place on the 1500 block of 52nd Street in Ensley, as reported by Officer Truman Fitzgerald. Thorn was declared dead at the scene at 4:35 p.m. Another individual was transported to a hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening.
Initial findings from the police investigation indicate that Thorn was engaged in a dispute and may have brandished a firearm, according to Fitzgerald. The case is currently being treated as a homicide.
