Charles Patterson III Obituary, Death; – Officials from the Mobile Police Department have identified the individual who was fatally shot while allegedly trying to rob a food truck operator.
According to the authorities, 32-year-old Charles Patterson III was shot and killed at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, July 27. Law enforcement officers reported that they were summoned to the Super Stop located in the 2000 block of St. Stephens Road on Sunday following a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Patterson, who was deceased, as stated in a prior news release. Authorities indicated that they concluded Patterson had brandished a firearm in an effort to rob the victim, at which point the victim drew his own weapon and shot Patterson.
The victim sustained no injuries.
