Carolyn Garner Obituary, Death; – The York County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday in Chanceford Township.
Carolyn Garner, aged 80, from Chanceford Township, was a front-seat passenger in a 2007 GMC Envoy that was involved in a head-on collision with a 2004 Subaru Outback shortly after 5:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Delta and Snyder roads, as reported by Pennsylvania State Police.
The Envoy was allegedly heading south on Delta Road when the driver of the northbound Subaru Outback attempted to overtake another vehicle, resulting in a head-on impact with the Envoy, according to police reports.
Garner succumbed to blunt force injuries at the scene, as stated by the coroner’s office. Other individuals injured in the incident were taken for medical care; however, the coroner’s office did not disclose their conditions or the number of individuals transported.
