Carlos Daniel Hinojos Hernandez Obituary, Death; – The Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into a shooting involving law enforcement that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old male in Weslaco.
According to DPS Spokesperson Lt. Christopher Olivarez, the incident took place on Joe Stephens Boulevard, close to Sugar Sweet Avenue, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Carlos Daniel Hinojos Hernandez, a resident of La Feria. Further information has not been disclosed, and the Texas Rangers are currently looking into the matter.
