Carl Johnson Obituary, Death; – The man who was shot and killed in northwest Fresno over the weekend has been identified as 70-year-old Carl Johnson. Police say the shooting happened around 10 am Saturday near Roberts and Cleo.
Authorities say Johnson was invited to a home to look at items that were going to be sold during a yard sale. During that, police say he and 46-year-old Stewart Coleman got into an argument. Police say Coleman then shot Johnson as he was trying to leave.
Johnson was found in the backyard. He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died. Coleman was taken into custody, but police have not found the gun. While an arrest has been made, police are asking anyone with more information to come forward.
