Cameron Ray Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old driver tragically lost his life early Sunday morning after his vehicle collided with a truck that was parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80 in Morris County, as reported by the New Jersey State Police.
Cameron Ray, a resident of Flanders, was operating his car at approximately 5:40 a.m. when it drifted onto the highway’s shoulder near milepost 38.2 in Denville, striking the stationary truck, according to Sergeant Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police.
Ray suffered critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene, as confirmed by law enforcement officials. The driver of the box truck, identified as Anthony Cotter, incurred minor injuries as a result of the incident, according to police reports. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
