Caitlin Hodges MISSING; – Authorities in Goldsboro announced on Sunday that they are actively searching for a woman from Illinois who has been reported missing for over a month. Caitlin Hodges, aged 29, was reported missing in Goldsboro on July 25, as stated in a news release from the Goldsboro Police Department.

Originally from Crystal Lake, Illinois, Hodges was visiting her boyfriend in Goldsboro and was last seen on July 18, according to information provided by the Aware Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about missing persons.

The Goldsboro police did not provide a photograph of Hodges in their Sunday announcement, but they noted that “a considerable amount of misinformation has been disseminated on social media” regarding her disappearance.
“We appreciate the community’s willingness to assist; however, it is crucial to emphasize that sharing unverified information can be detrimental,” stated the Goldsboro police. “Misinformation can undermine the integrity of our investigation and, in certain instances, may even endanger the safety of others involved. We kindly request that the public refrain from posting or sharing speculative information.”

On Sunday, the Aware Foundation distributed a flyer concerning Hodges.
