Brittany Hill Obituary, Death;- Two men were convicted of murdering a mother while she was holding her infant on the West Side of the city in 2019.
In March of that year, Brittany Hill was shot while conversing with her boyfriend in the 1200-block of North Mason Avenue. Eyewitnesses reported that a silver sedan approached her, and an individual exited the vehicle and began shooting.
At the time of the attack, she was cradling her 1-year-old daughter. Brittany managed to transport herself to West Suburban Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
During the trial, prosecutors disclosed that the young girl had smiled and waved at the two assailants just moments before they opened fire on her mother.
Fortunately, the child was unharmed.
The judge described the crime as “chilling, mind-boggling, and utterly senseless if this is true.”
