Breele Jahiem Johnson Obituary, Death;- One inmate has lost his life, and several others are in recovery from injuries following a significant altercation within a county jail in Georgia, according to officials. The incident occurred on Wednesday at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center in Macon, as stated by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
The deceased inmate has been identified as Breele Jahiem Johnson, aged 22. Johnson was detained in the jail after he and others were alleged to have discharged firearms in a neighborhood in Macon, as reported by WGXA-TV.
Four additional inmates, aged between 19 and 40, sustained injuries, as informed by Bibb County Sheriff David Davis to the Macon television station. Officials have not disclosed the motives behind the altercation.
