Brandon Straka Obituary, Death; – Cleveland police are investigating a shooting that killed a 21-year-old man in the West Park neighborhood Thursday evening.
According to the public information office of the Cleveland Division of Police, police arrived at an apartment on Bartter Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. and found firefighters providing first aid to a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
After EMS arrived, the victim — identified as Brandon Straka, 21 — was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal shooting is under active investigation by the Cleveland police homicide unit. As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made.
