Berta Marroquin Colindres Obituary, Death; – Prince George’s County police reported that a woman succumbed to her injuries following a collision between two vehicles in the Adelphi area on Monday morning.

As stated by the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD), officers were dispatched to the intersection of Adelphi and Riggs roads at approximately 5:50 a.m. on March 10 to investigate the incident involving two cars.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a Honda and a Jeep had collided, resulting in the Jeep overturning onto its side. A female passenger in one of the vehicles sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical care, where she unfortunately passed away several hours later.

On Tuesday, law enforcement officials identified the victim as 31-year-old Berta Marroquin Colindres, a resident of Hyattsville. Initial investigations indicated that the collision occurred at the intersection; however, the specific cause of the accident remains undetermined.

Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
