Benny Clayton Obituary, Death; – The Aiken County Coroner’s Office is investigating the accidental death of a Warrenville man.
On Tuesday night at 9:28 p.m., the coroner’s office was called to a residence in the 200 block of Hillvale Street, after 56-year-old Benny Clayton was found on a flatbed car hauler trailer beneath a vehicle.
Investigation showed Clayton was preparing to move a truck off the trailer when it shifted and landed on top of him. Clayton was pronounced deceased on scene at 10:05 from blunt-force injuries. No autopsy is scheduled. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office is continuing with the investigation.
