Austin Patrick Fett Obituary, Death; 2 killed in violent crash in Long Beach

Austin Patrick Fett Obituary, Death; – Traffic investigators are looking into a fatal collision that resulted in the deaths of two individuals in Long Beach on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Wardlow Road and Woodruff Avenue, involving a motorcycle and an SUV, as reported by the Long Beach Police Department.

According to authorities, a 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle was heading north on Woodruff Avenue when it struck a 2006 Toyota Highlander that was making a left turn onto Wardlow Road.

Emergency personnel from the Long Beach Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the driver of the Highlander to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist and a passenger in the Highlander were declared dead at the scene, according to police.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 28-year-old Austin Patrick Fett, a resident of Lakewood. The name of the passenger is being withheld until their next of kin has been notified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, officials stated.
