Austin McGuire Obituary, Death; – A 21-year-old man who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in St. Clair Township has been identified by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Austin McGuire, a resident of Hamilton, was declared deceased at the scene of the accident, which occurred in the 1100 block of U.S. 127 (North Main Street). The cause of death was determined to be head trauma, and the incident has been classified as an accident.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:50 a.m. McGuire was the sole occupant of the SUV involved in the crash.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a 2011 Mitsubishi was traveling southbound on U.S. 127 when McGuire reportedly lost control of the vehicle, veering off the right side of the road and colliding with a tree.

The Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Initial findings suggest that alcohol and speed may have contributed to the incident, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
