Ashley Doss-Lassiter,Hazel Hodge-Lassiter Missing, Arrested; – A 7-year-old girl reported missing from San Jacinto County has been located, as confirmed by officials.

Hazel Hodge-Lassiter was last seen on September 25 in the 900 block of County Line Road in Shepherd, Texas, and it was believed she was with her mother, 41-year-old Ashley Doss-Lassiter. Authorities from the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office have not disclosed the location where the young girl was found or the identity of the individuals accompanying her.

The sheriff’s office indicated that an investigation was underway in collaboration with Child Protective Services, which was set to proceed in court. CPS had obtained a court order to assume custody of the child; however, when authorities attempted to execute the warrant on Friday, both the child and her parents were untraceable.

Initially, the father was considered a person of interest in the abduction case, but authorities later clarified that he was not involved. Currently, San Jacinto County officials have not provided information regarding any arrests made in connection with this case.

An alert was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
