April Rosella Barton Obituary, Death; – A woman from Birmingham, who tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run incident last week, was identified on Thursday morning.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner, 48-year-old April Rosella Barton was crossing Princeton Avenue SW at Lomb Avenue SW at approximately 10:30 p.m. on August 30 when she was hit by a vehicle. Barton was declared dead at the scene of the accident at 10:58 p.m. The vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene after the collision, and the Birmingham police are currently looking into the details surrounding the crash.
