Anthony Terrill Williams Obituary, Death; – A deceased individual discovered amidst the ruins of a burning residence in Fairfield has been officially identified.

On Friday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the victim as Anthony Terrill Williams, aged 34. Fairfield firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the fire at 1:24 a.m. on Thursday, located in the 6400 block of Court F.

After the fire was brought under control, the remains of Williams were located within the debris, as stated by Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates. He was declared dead at the scene at 4:18 a.m.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, while the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office is examining the cause and origin of the fire.
