Anthony Mentzer,Bobbi Jo Bauers Obituary, Death; – Two people were killed Friday evening in a head-on crash in Jones County.
The Iowa State Patrol says it happened around 6:15 p.m. on Highway 38 near 310th Avenue. Investigators say a car heading south crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound truck. Both drivers were killed at the scene.
The victims have been identified as 33-year-old Anthony Mentzer of Monticello and 44-year-old Bobbi Jo Bauers of Delhi. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
