Anthony Brown Obituary, Death; – A 17-year-old is currently in custody following an incident where deputies from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office reported that he shot and killed his mother’s boyfriend during a domestic altercation on Friday evening. The shooting occurred at approximately 7 p.m. at a residence located on Westend Way in Hiram.

Upon the arrival of deputies, they discovered a deceased male at the scene. Investigators later confirmed the identity of the victim as Anthony Brown, aged 30, who was reportedly in a relationship with the mother of the suspect.

According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect—identified as Javar Summerhour—had fled the scene prior to the deputies’ arrival. Following a search and assistance from the suspect’s family, he was apprehended without incident.

Summerhour is presently being held at the Paulding County Jail without the possibility of bond. Authorities have indicated that he is facing charges in connection with the fatal shooting. While deputies have not disclosed the circumstances leading to the violence, it is believed that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.
