Andrej Kucher Obituary, Death; – The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual fatally shot on Saturday at Shea’s Tavern in Midtown as 36-year-old Andrej Kucher.
In addition to Kucher, three other individuals sustained injuries during the incident, with one person reported in critical condition. The shooting took place shortly after midnight in the vicinity of the 700 block of South Virginia Street at St. Lawrence Avenue.
According to the medical examiner’s office, Kucher succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head. A man and a woman were also admitted to the hospital following the shooting and were reported to be in stable condition by Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, another man remains in critical condition, as stated by the police.
John Paul Seger, aged 42, was apprehended on Saturday afternoon by Reno SWAT and other law enforcement agencies in the 400 block of Cedar Street in connection with the shooting incident. He is facing multiple charges, including open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and three counts of battery with a deadly weapon.
