Amir Atkins Obituary, Death; – The 11-year-old boy shot and killed Monday in north Minneapolis is identified as Amir Atkins. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office says Atkins died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say Atkins and another boy were near the entrance to Folwell Park when several vehicles drove by and shots were fired. Investigators are still searching for the alleged shooter.
