James E Camden Obituary, Death; – The coroner of McLean County has confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a passenger train in Normal on Tuesday.
Coroner Kathy Yoder reported that James E. Camden, 19, from East Peoria, succumbed to multiple injuries sustained during the incident. This occurred before 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, close to the train tracks at the intersection of Towanda Avenue and Kays Drive in northeast Normal.
Emergency responders from Normal Police and fire departments arrived at the scene and discovered the body near the tracks. Toxicology tests are currently pending. Authorities have not provided any further details regarding the incident.
