Alfonso Alvarez Jr Obituary, Death; – A man from East Texas lost his life after colliding with the rear of an 18-wheeler in Sulphur Springs on Thursday night.
As reported by the Sulphur Springs Police Department, the 18-wheeler was traveling west on Industrial Drive West when a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 25-year-old Alfonso Alvarez Jr. of Sulphur Springs, struck the trailer from behind. Alvarez was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities indicated that the two occupants of the 18-wheeler sustained no injuries.
