Alexander Nesteruk Obituary, Death; – A man who was shot last Wednesday in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago has succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by the medical examiner.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Clark Street and Fullerton Avenue. According to police reports, the 34-year-old victim approached several individuals on the sidewalk prior to being shot. He was transported to a hospital, where he later passed away. The victim has been identified as Alexander Nesteruk from Wheaton.

Numerous witnesses informed Newschain that the individual who was shot had been wandering the block for a significant portion of the day, exhibiting erratic behavior, and had been harassing and threatening pedestrians while also striking passing vehicles.

Around 4 p.m., witnesses reported that the victim confronted another man who was armed. The fire department indicated that the victim sustained two gunshot wounds. Witnesses stated that he was shot in the chest, while the armed individual calmly departed the scene. Chicago police have reported that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
