Alex S Morehouse,Suzie J Etu Obituary, Death; – The State Police have confirmed the identities of the two individuals who lost their lives on Saturday following a motorcycle crash that occurred during a pursuit by troopers. According to police reports, an attempt was made to stop the motorcycle around 12:20 a.m. on Route 9, close to the intersection with Hidden Farm Road in Queensbury, due to speeding.
The motorcyclist failed to comply with the stop signal, prompting a chase by the police. However, the pursuit was terminated near the intersection of Route 9 and Lafayette Street for safety reasons. The motorcycle then proceeded into Glens Falls, where it collided with a curb and crashed at approximately 12:23 a.m. on Bacon Street, at the intersection with Glen Street, near the Chapman Museum.
The driver, identified as Alex S. Morehouse, 38, from Warrensburg, was declared dead at the scene, while the passenger, Suzie J. Etu, 38, from South Glens Falls, succumbed to her injuries at Glens Falls Hospital. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
