Albert Ruiz Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed the identity of an individual who was fatally shot in central Phoenix during the weekend.
The victim of the shooting that occurred on Sunday was identified as 55-year-old Albert Ruiz, as announced by the Phoenix Police Department on Wednesday.
Officers arrived at the intersection of Seventh Street and Montebello Avenue, located south of Bethany Home Road, at 4:45 p.m. to discover a man who had sustained gunshot wounds.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Detectives have identified and questioned another individual connected to the incident and have released him while the investigation continues.
