Aiden Martin,Emmaleigh Arnold Obituary, Death; – Authorities have reported that two residents of Cleveland County lost their lives in a collision that occurred on Friday evening on Interstate 40 in Shawnee.
According to a collision report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident involved five vehicles, including a semi-trailer, and took place around 5:45 p.m. on westbound I-40 at mile marker 182. Two passengers in a Kia Forte were declared dead at the scene.
The victims have been identified by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as 22-year-old Aiden Martin from Norman and 21-year-old Emmaleigh Arnold from Moore.
In addition, three other individuals, including the driver of the Forte, sustained injuries. The driver was treated at a hospital and subsequently released, while two other drivers were admitted to OU Health in stable condition. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision and the events leading up to it is ongoing.
