A’erica, who celebrated her 10th birthday on April 15, was passionate about cheerleading and creating TikTok videos. She is survived by her mother, grandmother, two sisters, and a brother. The family is still mourning the loss of A’erica’s father, who passed away two years ago, as noted in a GoFundMe campaign initiated by her cousin, Tomeka Dixon. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has urged all Georgians to pray for the family during this challenging time, and a candlelight vigil is scheduled for Friday evening.
