Adrione Triggs Obituary, Death; – Jackson police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot and killed on the afternoon of the Fourth of July.
JPD Public Information Officer Tommie Brown said the shooting occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. Friday, July 4, in the 1100 block of Ame Logan Street. Brown identified the victim as 45-year-old Adrione Triggs.
According to Brown, Triggs was shot at the scene and died at a local hospital. No suspect was identified in a press release issued by police. Triggs’ death was one of two fatal shootings that occurred this year on the Fourth of July in Jackson.
