Joshua Little Obituary, Death; – An Ohio man walking on a highway ramp was hit and killed Thursday by an oncoming driver.
The victim had been driving a car that broke down on the shoulder of Interstate 75 southbound in Orange Township, according to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP). The man began walking on the exit ramp for State Route 103 when the driver of an SUV hit him shortly before 6:30 a.m.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office as 42-year-old Joshua Little from Wapakoneta. It’s unclear what factors were involved in the crash. The driver was not hurt, police said.
Newschain is choosing not to name the driver as investigators did not specify if criminal charges are being filed. The crash is still under investigation, according to the release. The exit ramp for SR 103 was closed for about an hour while investigators cleared the scene.
