Ciarre Hall Obituary, Death; – A 30-year-old man took his own life following an incident in which he allegedly shot his mother multiple times on Friday morning near New Castle.
The shooter has been identified by New Castle County Police as Ciarre Hall. On Monday, police released information regarding the shooting, which took place three days prior.
According to law enforcement, Hall engaged in a confrontation with his 46-year-old mother concerning personal issues. During this altercation, he reportedly shot her several times before subsequently turning the firearm on himself. Officers responded to the 400 block of Bethune Drive in Dunleith at approximately 9:10 a.m., where they discovered the woman in a yard. She was transported to a local hospital.
Although specific medical details were not disclosed, authorities indicated that the woman was in stable condition. Hall was also located in the yard, where he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner’s Office later determined that Hall’s death resulted from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, classifying it as a suicide.
