On November 26, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the 5200 block of Colley Avenue following reports of a pedestrian involved in a car accident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with severe injuries.
The pedestrian, identified as 61-year-old Leo B. La Rue from Norfolk, was transported to the hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his critical injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the incident and did not sustain any injuries.
