Baeley Aubrey Thackston Obituary, Death; – Rockville resident Baeley Aubrey Thackston has been confirmed by authorities as the individual who lost his life on Saturday night after being hit by a minivan driver in North Bethesda.
Investigators reported that shortly before 7:30 p.m. on October 12, the driver of a Toyota Sienna was traveling south on Rockville Pike and made a left turn onto Tuckerman Lane, colliding with Thackston, who was riding his Yamaha MT07 in the opposite direction.
Thackston was declared dead at the scene. The minivan driver was transported to the hospital for assessment and treatment of minor injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
