Calcius Hales Jr Obituary, Death; – The Hartford Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 19-year-old male Monday afternoon in the city’s North End.
Officers responded around 3:19 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, to a report of shots fired in the rear lot of 4 Barbour St., police said.
When officers arrived, they located an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police identified the victim as Calcius Hales Jr., 19, of Edgewood Street in Hartford. The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
