Alexander Zavaleta Obituary, Death; – Oconee County fire departments responded to an apartment fire on South Spring Street, where they discovered an unresponsive man on the kitchen floor.
According to the Oconee County Coroner’s Office, fire departments responded to the scene at 1:53 p.m. on Friday. The victim was found unresponsive and was taken from the home and was given CPR and resuscitation efforts were done.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:51 p.m. The victim was identified as 18-year-old Alexander Zavaleta. According to officials, the fire remains under investigation by the Westminster Fire Department and Westminster Police Department, with assistance from SLED Fire Investigations.
