Donovan Chapman Obituary, Death; – A man lost his life in a collision involving a large truck and a sedan on the Golden State (5) Freeway in the Arleta region of Los Angeles, as reported by authorities on Monday.
The incident was documented at 3:43 a.m. on Sunday on the northbound Golden State Freeway, just south of the Osborne Street offramp and in proximity to the Hollywood (170) Freeway interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was declared dead at the scene, as stated by the CHP. It remains uncertain which vehicle the deceased was occupying.
He was subsequently identified as 25-year-old Donovan Chapman, as per the Medical Examiner’s office. His place of residence was not disclosed.
A SigAlert was issued, resulting in the closure of all northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway at the Hollywood Freeway junction during the investigation and cleanup of the crash.
