Timmy Massey Obituary, Death; – The Norfolk Police Department’s Traffic Fatality Team is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left a man dead .
The driver, identified as Timmy Massey, 72, of Norfolk, was driving a 2014 Ford Escape in the 1100 block of Kempsville Road at approximately 2:42 a.m., when his vehicle left the roadway, and hit a pole and two trees before coming to a stop.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue personnel transported Massey to Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Crash investigators say Massey likely experienced a medical event prior to the crash.
This remains an active investigation.
