Sarwan Sandhu Obituary, Death; – A 43-year-old driver of a tractor-trailer lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Wednesday evening along a highway in the Pocono region.
The Monroe County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the deceased as Sarwan Sandhu, who resided in Indiana. Sandhu was declared dead shortly before 12:15 a.m. on Thursday at the accident site, located on Route 80 in Tunkhannock Township.
An autopsy is set to take place on Friday to ascertain the cause and manner of death.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Anthony Petroski III, who serves as the public information officer for Troop N, the incident occurred just prior to 10:45 p.m. in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 289.4.
