Susano Archuleta,Maya Lupian Obituary, Death; – All four individuals who lost their lives in the Stockton mass shooting have been identified as of Wednesday morning.

The Aspire Public School District issued a statement on Tuesday, expressing their sorrow over the loss of Maya.
“Aspire Public Schools is mourning alongside our Aspire APEX community in Stockton following the tragic loss of one of our students, Maya Lupian, due to a recent act of violence that occurred over the weekend during a family event,” stated the school district. “We are heartbroken by this devastating and tragic event, and our deepest condolences and love go out to the families affected.”
According to the GoFundMe page, Maya was described as an outgoing third grader who excelled in both her studies and extracurricular activities.
“She enjoyed dancing, singing, and drawing. She held a purple belt in karate and loved being active. Maya was the light in everyone’s life, the sweetest soul,” the page noted.
Maya was set to celebrate her 9th birthday on December 13.
Journey Rose Reotutar Guerrero, 8
Journey Rose was recognized as the second youngest victim of the shooting on Wednesday morning.
Officials confirmed that she was a student at the Stockton Unified School District, and her mother was employed as a teacher.
“We are profoundly saddened to announce that one of the victims of the tragic mass shooting was a student of the Stockton Unified School District. Her mother, a devoted member of our SUSD family, serves as a teacher within our district,” stated SUSD Superintendent Dr. Michelle Rodriguez. “Our hearts are with their family during this unimaginable time, and we grieve alongside them. We will continue to do everything we can to support them and our entire SUSD Community.”
The GoFundMe page characterized Journey Rose as intelligent, helpful, and an “inspiration for her family to strive for their best.”
“She would always offer a helping hand to anyone she knew. She was a smart girl who loved trivia and solving math games. Journey was growing up beautifully and should have had a long life where she could learn and play as much as she pleased,” the page said. “She had so many dreams and goals she wanted to reach. Journey wanted to be a cheerleader when she entered high school & to continue her love for gymnastics. She wished to become a doctor & follow in her sister’s footsteps. She wanted to help people.”
Amari Peterson, 14
The family of 14-year-old Amari Peterson spoke to FOX40 on Monday, mourning their loss of the young teen.
“I just wish I could have my baby back,” said Patrick Peterson, Amari’s father. “I just wish I could just smell his hair. I wish I could cut his hair. I wish I could just play a game with him. I wish I could just wake him up to go to school.”

The GoFundMe page said that Amari was a young athlete who played football and basketball, making plans to go to the college of his choice.
“The only mistake this sweet boy made was being in the wrong place at the wrong time,” the page said. “He was simply being a kid at a kids’ party.”
Susano Archuleta, 21

The family of 21-year-old Susano Archuleta spoke to FOX40, confirming him to be the oldest victim.
He was loved by friends and family throughout the community.

The Stockton Unified School District and Aspire Schools said mental health and school counselors are on campus to support students and staff.
Meanwhile, investigators said two additional people were injured in the Stockton mass shooting. According to officials, they self-transported to the hospital on Monday, making the total number of injured 13.
Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi reminds the community that Crimestoppers, along with herself and Councilwoman Mariela Ponce, are offering a combined $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
Meanwhile, the FBI and San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office are offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting.
