Cayden Andrew McBee Obituary, Death; – A 20-year-old man from Midland has died following a crash that happened Tuesday morning.

According to a Texas Department of Public Safety crash report, around 6:00 a.m. on December 2, troopers responded to the area of FM 1788, near mile marker 330 to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Investigators said Cayden Andrew McBee, 20, of Midland, was traveling northbound on FM 1788 in a Nissan Altima while the driver of a GMC Sierra was traveling southbound on FM 1788. According to the report, McBee left the northbound lane and entered the southbound lane, where he collided with the GMC Sierra.

The driver of the Sierra, identified as 62-year-old Joseph Charles Nock, Jr., was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. McBee, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
