Naraya Benjamin,Briahna Victoria McCain Obituary, Death; – The individuals involved in a single-vehicle accident in Alamance County on the early morning of November 27 have been identified as Naraya Benjamin, 16, from Greensboro, and Briahna Victoria McCain, 16, from Liberty, as reported by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene around 4:44 a.m. to investigate the incident on NC-62, close to Friendship Patterson Mill Road. According to investigators, a 2006 Dodge Ram that was heading south veered across the center line, left the roadway, collided with a pole shed, and subsequently overturned.
The 17-year-old driver, along with three other passengers aged between 15 and 18, were transported to a nearby hospital due to serious injuries.
Authorities suspect that speed and impairment may have contributed to the crash. The investigation is still in progress, and officials are collaborating with the Alamance County District Attorney’s Office to assess possible charges.
