Susano Archuleta Obituary, Death; – The aunt of the 21-year-old who was shot and killed in Stockton identified her nephew a day after gunfire erupted at a child’s birthday celebration, resulting in the deaths of three others and injuring 11.

“My nephew was among those who were shot,” Patricia Flores stated. “He was a good kid who attended the celebration for a friend, specifically for his friend’s daughter, I believe.”
Flores named her nephew as Susano Archuleta.

The ages of the three other victims were 8, 9, and 14. Authorities have yet to disclose the identities of any of the victims.

In her sorrow, Flores opted to seek solace in Christ and her community.
“It gives me hope. It makes me feel as though the family is not alone,” she remarked.

Her niece and her toddler were also present at the party, expressing gratitude that they were in the bathroom when the gunfire erupted.

“I suppose she just heard the shots and remained there until she could no longer hear anything,” Flores recounted.

Ella Luna-Garza, the senior pastor of Central United Methodist Church, happened to be in the shopping center just 30 minutes prior to the shooting.
“I suspect we encountered some of the individuals who were directly impacted,” Luna-Garza commented.

Her sorrow inspired her to organize a prayer vigil at her church, aiming to provide light amidst the darkness.
“I believed the church needed to be present,” she expressed. “We must be able to stand up and say, ‘Hey, we see you, we love you, and we are ready to help bring about change in this city.'”

This is a change that the families of these children wish could have occurred sooner.

“Why would someone want to do that? If you’re angry, why would you unleash that anger on innocent individuals who are not involved in whatever issue prompted such actions?” Flores questioned. “He will be missed. He will certainly be missed.”

Authorities reported that the shooting took place at a banquet hall on Lucile Avenue on Saturday. No suspect or suspects have been identified or apprehended.
