Michael Barrs Obituary, Death; – A man killed in a Midlands motorcycle crash has been identified.
Sumter County Coroner Robbie Baker said 45-year-old Michael Barrs died Friday after a wreck in the area of McCrays Mill Road and Player Road.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Barrs was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson on McCrays Mill Road when it ran off the road at the intersection of Player Road and struck a ditch. Barrs died at the scene, according to Baker.
An autopsy has been scheduled. SCHP and the Sumter County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
