Breasia Johnson Obituary, Death; – Arlington police have confirmed the identity of the pregnant woman who lost her life in a shooting incident along Interstate 20 in Arlington earlier this week.
Authorities reported that 29-year-old Breasia Johnson was among four individuals in a vehicle that was en route to Bowman Springs Road shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
The driver stopped at a gas station on Little Road to seek assistance after their car was fired upon.
The driver sustained injuries from gunfire and was transported to the hospital.
Fortunately, two children in the vehicle were unharmed.
Another vehicle was also struck during the incident, but no injuries were reported for those occupants.
Police have yet to disclose the circumstances leading to the shooting. It remains uncertain whether the incident was a result of road rage, a targeted assault, or a random act of violence.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and no descriptions of potential suspects have been provided.
