Daryle L Bryant Obituary, Death; – Canton police have apprehended a 19-year-old male in relation to a deadly shooting that took place on Monday morning on Tuscarawas Street West.

As stated by Canton Police Chief John Gabbard, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:30 a.m. on November 3 at 3907 Tuscarawas St. W., Apt. 8, where they discovered Daryle L. Bryant, 21, from Canton, suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Medics from the Canton Fire Department transported Bryant to Aultman Hospital, where he was declared dead shortly thereafter.

Authorities have identified Deiveon Newman, 19, from Massillon, as the alleged perpetrator. Investigators report that he fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers but subsequently turned himself in to law enforcement on Tuesday morning.

Newman faces charges of murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence.

The investigation is still ongoing.
