Elijah Harts Obituary, Death; – A man who was fatally injured in a shooting that originated from a confrontation at a Halloween party in Santa Clarita was identified by the L.A. County Office of Medical Examiner on Monday.

The deceased individual was recognized as Elijah Harts, 29, from Newhall. Another individual sustained critical injuries in the incident.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 25000 block of De Wolfe Road in Gavin Canyon at 11:24 p.m. on Friday concerning a shooting, as reported by Lt. Michael Modica.

Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a man with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was declared dead at the scene.

Additionally, they found a 27-year-old man who was injured and was immediately transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Investigators determined that the shooting was a result of a fight that occurred at a Halloween party in the vicinity, and two men were last seen fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
